My journey thus far on this wicked, twisted road of life finds me as a middle-aged stay-at-home mom who is pursuing her lifelong desire to be a teacher and coach. My childhood was spent in Southwest Montana on a cattle ranch. I thrived in school and graduated high school with a track and field scholarship. After a few years of college, track, and basketball, I headed North to Alaska and pursued a degree in Process Technology. I spent many years on the North Slope of Alaska working multiple jobs in the Prudhoe Bay oilfield. I married and started a family allowing me the opportunity to volunteer as a coach and in the classroom. I enjoy spending time with my family camping, fishing, or traveling. I love Audible and Libby for audible books. A normal day for me includes a cup of coffee, time with my children, time on the basketball court, and volunteering at my church.

I consider myself to be not artistic. I enjoy looking at art and visiting museums. However, when I attempt to paint or draw, I cannot seem to master any of the skills necessary. I think that any artistic enjoyment I would receive from art would be in Graphic Design.
